The walk will be approximately 2.5-3 miles, but it is an out-and-back walk so you can customize the amount of time you would like to walk. This walk will be on a trail and you will encounter some uneven terrain and some inclines. This route is not easily handicapped-accessible; especially in certain weather conditions.

The walk leader will be Dr. Christine Brussock and the program topic will be updated closer to the date of the walk. This walk is being organized by Penbrook Borough Walk With A Doc group, Capital Area Greenbelt Association, Susquehanna Township Walk With A Doc, and Dauphin County Parks & Recreation Department. We would like to thank the City of Harrisburg Parks & Recreation Department for allowing the use of the park for this walk. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield.
