Greenbelt Trail Reopening at Farm Show Complex

We’re back—and better than ever!

After six weeks of reroutes and construction, we’re thrilled to announce that the section of the Capital Area Greenbelt along the north side of the Farm Show Complex is open once again to all trail users.

This stretch of trail was temporarily closed for the installation of a stormwater detention basin system—a vital upgrade that enhances the longevity of the trail and helps protect the area from runoff-related damage. In short: this project means a smoother ride, better drainage, and more sustainable trail use for years to come.

Along with the new infrastructure, users will notice:

  • A newly paved trail section

  • Native plantings that will flourish with time

  • A cleaner, safer, and greener landscape

Our sincere thanks go to the PA Farm Show Complex team and the professionals at Rogele Inc., whose collaboration and dedication made this improvement possible.

Whether you’re walking, running, or riding—get out and enjoy the updated section of trail today. It’s one more step in keeping the Greenbelt clean, green, and growing. 🌿
