Volunteers painting over graffiti on Earth Day 2016.
Now is the perfect time to grab a bag and take a walk on the Greenbelt to help clean up litter. Litter accumulates over the winter, and is much easier to see before vegetation leafs out. If you have a group that wants to help spring clean an intersection, and you need additional information, please contact us.
Please help us maintain the Five Senses Gardens:
Volunteers are needed to help us get the gardens ready for spring. There is usually someone working in the gardens every day; just stop by and ask how you can help. Gardening experience is helpful but not required. You can also email us if you would like to set up a day and time for you or your group to come by and help.
Help is also needed for the following projects:
- Grant Writing
- Document the history of the Greenbelt
- Public Relations
- Provide information at Greenbelt kiosks at events
- General trail maintenance (all seasons)
- Membership Drives
- Tour de Belt: logistics, publicity, sponsorship
If you have an interest in helping out the Greenbelt Association, please contact CAGA via email at caga@caga.org or call (717) 921-GREEN (921-4733).
