Greenbelt users will be impacted in the Harrisburg State Hospital. Capital Region Water (CRW) will begin work by the end of November on a project that will impact the Greenbelt, to rehabilitate a failing sewer pipe near Arsenal Blvd. Contractors will install a temporary bridge to cross the creek near the Harrisburg State Hospital Grounds and Sycamore Drive. Construction vehicles will cross the area to access the work site. While the trail will generally be accessible, periodic brief trail closures will be necessary. Work will be ongoing in the area for an extended period, but the site will be rehabilitated to its normal state upon completion of the work.
